I compose for piano. I have been doing so since 1968. During the evening of April 7, 2012, beginning at 7 pm, I will play several of my compositions as an opening act for Bill Walker (billwalker.com). Grady Harper, Los Angeles, reviewer for amazon.com, had this to say about Bill’s first CD, Age of Discovery: “…Comparisons always rear their heads when a newcomer releases his first work and Yanni and John Tesh are the first to come to mind. But Walker goes beyond these referenced colleagues because of his passion for classical music….” I hope you note this event on your calendars and make every effort to attend. There is no fixed charge for this mini-concert, though “artistic donations” will be gratefully accepted. The concert will be held at Day Murray Music’s recital hall located at 4914 S State Street, Murray, Utah.
The event-courtesy price for each of my three books (Tivoli’s Christmas, The Mystery of the Grinning Buddha, and The Mystery of the Ugly Bottle) will be $5.00. This is less than half the publisher’s list price, so feel free to take advantage to this specially arrange price with the publisher.
